Wow, it was a huge turnout. The food was good and there was plenty to go around. I made some great new contacts and got to catch up with some existing ones. Everyone seemed to have a good time and they all seemed to be having engaging conversation.
A blast of insight and edumacation. Thank you, Peter, for organizing these. Great turnout/crowd/people always show up.
P.S. Air conditioning works now!!!!
I really enjoyed this meetup. Thank-you Al for sharing your knowledge and techniques about wordpress development for corporate sites. Your talk really inspired a lot of interesting discussion later and I think I learned as much from the discussion as the informative lecture.
Cheers,

For me the meeting was a little light. I do know now what to set if I want to make a WordPress page static which I'm sure will save me some time figuring this out for myself at some point. It was nice to see people I met before and meet new ones. Best Wishes for the Season!
It was a smaller crowd this time out. I'm guessing that was due to the nice weather. Nevertheless, we had a good session.
Hopefully the past 2 sessions have inspired our members to take on php/mysql projects with confidence. I look forward to our next lecture.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Now that I know what "localhost" means and that it's not an argument for which I have to provide a host, maybe I can get my form to talk to a database instead of to a text file.
GREAT LECTURE! Looking forward to going over it again in video.
I enjoyed today and meeting the group! It was a good review of PHP and a lot faster than reading over my PHP book again. I have the 2007 "PHP, MySQL and Apache" book by Julie C Melonie and learning PHP without ANY support or discussion with others has not been working for me.
Learning about WAMP is probably the biggest bonus for coming in today as I've tried installing PHP, Apache and MySQL locally before without success.
The refreshments were great!
Topic was very basic and easy to follow for beginners. I personally believe that presenting ready code examples could save time and let us see more examples. But that might just me, all in all, it was a great presentation. Thank you.
I really didn't know much about jquery other than it used javascript and I must say that I learned much more than I thought I would in a couple of hours. Although not an expert of course, I could start using jquery on my sites with just the knowledge that I gained at the lecture.
Peter, you are so good at explaining these sometimes complicated concepts. It must be because you're a Dad!
I really enjoyed the lecture and took away a lot from it.
